Our Tap & Tumble Private Intro Class is a one-on-one session designed to help new students build confidence, coordination, and comfort on the mats before joining group classes.

Younger kids (ages 3–6) will explore movement through games, balance drills, and basic tumbling, while older students (up to age 12) can use the session as a focused intro to jiu-jitsu fundamentals and mat etiquette.

Each private is paced to the student’s age and experience level, creating a safe, engaging way to develop focus, agility, and respect through play and movement.

Perfect for:

  • First-time students who may be shy or need extra attention
  • Parents who want a gentle, focused introduction before group sessions

Release of Liability & Participant Agreement

By signing below, I understand that training at Deadweight Martial Arts involves physical activity, close contact, and instructor-led drills that may push my limits. I acknowledge that injuries can happen—including bumps, bruises, strains, or more serious occurrences—and I accept that risk as part of the training process.

I agree that I’m responsible for listening to my body, communicating any injuries or concerns, and training in a way that supports my safety and the safety of others. I understand that I can sit out, modify, or ask for help at any time

I hereby release Deadweight Martial Arts, its owners, instructors, staff, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or health issue that may occur during my time on the mats, in the gym, or at any event connected to Deadweight Martial Arts.


Medical Authorization

If I am injured and unable to respond, I give permission for staff or emergency personnel to provide care or call for assistance. I understand that I’m responsible for any medical costs that may arise.


Photo & Video Consent

I understand that classes or events at Deadweight Martial Arts may be photographed or filmed for training or promotional purposes. I consent to the use of my likeness unless I opt out in writing.





Respect & Conduct

I agree to follow gym rules and respect the space, staff, and fellow students. I understand that if I act in a way that puts others at risk or disrupts the environment, I may be asked to leave.
